First Things First, (FTF Ltd) was formed in 1991 in Burnley Lancashire.
FTF Ltd was founded by Barry Sanderson with his extensive buying/sourcing background & Steve Molyneux with his expertise in sales. Together they developed the strategic direction for ‘First things First’ by offering basic high volume cotton underwear to the 'discount' market.
With much success, FTF decided to expand its product offering to include more fashion led underwear & successfully entered and grew its share of the competitive underwear market.
In 2000 FTF decided to introduce Lingerie & Bras, significantly expanding its product offerings in the fashion, plus size & support markets & soon became known as the innovators of fashion underwear & creative packaging.
Due to demand in 2002 FTF decided to expand its design department introducing talented designers & work placement students onto the team.
2003 saw the creation of the sock division of FTF offering design & quality socks & hosiery at market competitive prices.
In 2005 FTF helped to set up an underwear division for well known established brands, supplying indirectly to the high street.
With proven success of knowledge & experience of the underwear market in 2006, FTF could see a gap in the market & decided to create a range of our fashion brands. ‘Dolly mixtures’, 'Miss Frou-Frou’, ‘Arrested’ ‘Life & Death’ & ‘Scruples’.
2008 is the launch of the new brands & company profile website.

Over the last 10 years we have grown from supplying basic high volume cotton underwear to the 'discount' market to now providing good quality fashion led underwear, essential apparel, accessories, branded & private label products to multiple high street retailers.
We have proven to be very innovative in our ideas & have a very creative design department of fashion graduates, all of whom spent a valuable years work placement with us while studying. We also have our own office in Hong Kong & our own factory in China, which gives us a good advantage over other suppliers as we can provide a 'trustworthy' level of service.
FTF Ltd is well known & respected for the value it provides to the consumer as well as our retail customers. An important element of our strategy is to fine tune our product line & merchandise assortments in the form of ‘plannograms’ & ‘point of sale’ to further enhance value appeal of its products.
